With a year gone since our Oxford adventure began and with time flying by, it seems that there a still million things to do here. So we decided to make our list and start a blog to record our attempts to complete our ‘listful things’.

  1. Start a blog
  2. Iceskate at Somerset House this winter (http://www.somersethouse.org.uk/ice_rink/)
  3. Finish knitting Dan's scarf for said bitter cold winter
  4. Visit York and Chichester
  5. Find storage solutions for a storage-poor flat
  6. Do more aimless walking
  7. Run the Bath Half Marathon
  8. Be a better aunt and uncle
  9. Master Holly's scone recipe
  10. Drink more disgustingly warm ales
  11. Put more things in vases
  12. Have a wedding!
  13. Learn dance steps for said wedding to make 3.5 minute bridal waltz a bit less "swayey"
  14. Befriend our new neighbours
  15. Skype our overseas mates once a week (including our beautiful old neighbours)
  16. Volunteer in Oxford
  17. Reinitiate weekly date night
  18. Learn to sew
  19. Improve our Croatian (govorje Hrvatski bolje?)
  20. Visit Drayton Manor (www.draytonmanor.co.uk/)
  21. Cook a new recipe together once a week
  22. Make better use of our beautiful orchard
  23. Eat more from the bottom of the food pyramid
  24. Baby sit John and Sarah's beautiful Baby B
  25. Go brambling
  26. See some shows
  27. Learn Devil's Patience
  28. Do a mini triathalon
  29. Make jack-o-lanterns
  30. Play like kids in the snow
  31. Experiment with tea
  32. Write more
  33. Ride bike with no hands (or for Dan, ride bike)
  34. Learn Russian
  35. Recycle
  36. Go to Paris
  37. Learn to straighten hair with limited assistance
  38. Read a Penguin Classic together
  39. Garden (a little)
  40. Improve the ambience of an unambient bedroom
  41. Be the couple that suggests the late night trips to Oxford's finest clubs
  42. Visit the forest
  43. Attempt to tame a squirrel
  44. Cover our wine stained IKEA couch
  45. Enjoy port nightcaps (preferably without spilling them on newly covered IKEA couch)
  46. Attend more irrelevant lectures and talks
As you can see, some are soul-enriching, some aesthetically-improving, some are frivolous and others gruelling ... but all will be done. Now let's get cracking.
